Skull & HaHa Showcase Live in Malaysia! ♥
From KAvenyou.com: The reggae duo, Skull & HaHa finally held their first showcase in Malaysia on the 21st December at KL Live! The show also featured amazing performances by DJ IT and reggae/ hip hop producer NUOL! DJ IT opened for the show with a killer set that hyped up the crowd. But it was only when Skull & HaHa came up on stage at 8pm that the party really started! The first song they performed was ‘Reggaerilla’, and immediately the fans joined in and sang along with the energetic duo. Next, they performed a special stage of ‘Big Up’ featuring the reggae/hip hop producer NUOL with DJ IT spinning in the background!     From KAvenyou.com: After that, they had a little greeting session with the fans. Skull was especially thankful for all the fans that made it to the show. “I was so worried for the fans that were queuing outside cause it was raining so heavily,” he exclaimed. HaHa also expressed his love for all the fans and praised that Kuala Lumpur was a beautiful city with lots of good food and cute girls, shouting “Malaysia Boleh” throughout the night. They also thanked International fans from Korea and Singapore for coming. Next, 10 lucky fans hand-picked by Skull & HaHa themselves got the chance to join them on stage for a mini game of charades. HaHa’s team won in the end but the two decided to reward all the participants with a hug nonetheless. Skull even gave away DJ IT’s and his own towel to two lucky fans!     From KAvenyou.com: Despite the depressing weather, the reggae spirit of the duo was not affected. They continued with the song ‘Ha Wa U?? Fine Thank You!!’, to which HaHa took off his shades and t-shirt then poured water all over himself and sprinkled the fans with his wet hair. Skull & HaHa both jumped and partied together with the crowd through hits such as ‘Busan Vacance’ and ‘Ragga Muffin’. They even had a pre-Christmas celebration with the fans and danced along to ‘YMCA’. Other than all the partying, the duo also showed their soft side with a very rare and emotional live version of ‘Hennessy 19’. HaHa claimed that the song was written after a break up. The lights were turned off during this performance and the venue turned into a sea of stars with fans waving their phones in the air as the duo pour their heart out on stage. However, the night continued and ended with the cheerful song, ‘Sweet Rice Cake’. Skull & HaHa even knelt down and gave the fans a traditional Korean new year’s greeting. Before they left, they also made a vow to the fans that they would return to Malaysia very soon! But they are really awesome, I was at the back and I can really see the people are enjoying themselves XD It's really zero distance between the duo and the fans, so everyone had their fair chance of getting close / skinship with Skull and HaHa! ^^ Thanks for the hard work! First overseas event and it's really good! More to come, I hope!
