Skull & HaHa Fan Meeting in Singapore - Press Conference
From KAvenyou: Korea’s Reggae duo, Skull and HaHa came to Singapore for their first fan meeting/mini concert. The press conference was held on 19th July 2013, at Novena Square 2, The Atrium. As it was an open conference, fans of Skull and HaHa went down early to queue to catch a glimpse of them! The duo greeted the fans excitedly and they revealed that the first thing they want to do when they reach Singapore is to see the beautiful girls here!            From KAvenyou: Here are the details of the QnA session: Q: HaHa, congratulations for being a father! Now that you are a father, will you change your ‘betrayer’ identity to a role model in the show Running Man? HaHa: If the program requests me to change, then I will, or I will do even greater betrayals. Q: What’s the best thing about promoting music together and not as a solo artist? Skull: We live in totally different world, I started music as an underground artist and HaHa was an entertainer/singer, so we sort of complement each other. And we get along very well in terms of our personality. HaHa: We complement each other very well because our backgrounds are different. Q: What do you think you will be doing if you are not doing Reggae music? HaHa: If I were to speak on behalf of Skull, he will probably be a hair dresser to braid people’s hair. Skull: I think HaHa will be managing a Korean restaurant. Q: Skull, what is it like to have dreadlocks in Singapore? Do you take special care of it? Does it feel uncomfortable? Skull: I’m used to this hair for couple of years, I don’t feel uncomfortable, sometimes I want to swim but I can’t. People will think that it’s uncomfortable but it’s not. Q: HaHa, since the baby boy’s name is Dream, and with that you have released a single recently, so what’s your final goal and how will the baby, Dream help you to achieve the goal? HaHa: Because Skull is the senior of Reggae in Korea, and I love Reggae. Sadly Reggae is not popular in Korea so the dream for Skull and HaHa is to popularize Reggae music and to perform Reggae music on stage constantly. Personally, both of us hope that we can be like Psy, to be as popular as him. Q: If you can collaborate with any KPOP artist, who would it be? HaHa: All of the singers are talented but I would want to collaborate with idol groups. Skull: Actually I want to collaborate with Singapore most beautiful woman~       From KAvenyou: Q: Any challenges faced when you are doing Reggae music since it’s not as common as other pop music? Skull: Reggae is a long jump in Korea and we feel proud when people started to get interested in it, we had a hard time doing it but we feel proud when people are interested in Reggae music, especially in our music! We faced a lot of difficulties when we are remaking Reggae Muffin, as the original song is not in Reggae style, so we have to remake it into Reggae style. HaHa: Very difficult~ (in English) Q: HaHa, did you expect Running Man to be such a popular show? Also, did you expect such a huge welcome from the fans? HaHa: I really didn’t expect it at all because it wasn’t that popular initially in Korea, the popularity starts from the Asia race when we went to Thailand. So thank you for all the support, especially our Asia fans! Q: Can you tell us one thing about each other that we don’t know? Skull: HaHa is tougher than he looks and he can hold his liquor well HaHa: Skull has a hot body and he will be half-naked tomorrow night, so please look forward to it! Q: HaHa, why did you get your hair dyed blonde? HaHa: Actually it’s just white hair! Just kidding~ I feel that I want to have a new look after marriage and also to take better care of myself!
